FESTIVAL THEATRE WORLD BRNO 2026

Theatre World Brno is a major international theatre festival and one of the three largest theatre festivals in the Czech Republic. Each year, it presents more than fifty performances in the main programme, offering audiences outstanding Czech and international productions they would otherwise have to travel abroad to see.Since 2015, the festival has been organised by the National Theatre Brno, which has shaped its long-term dramaturgical vision as a showcase of progressive theatre with international reach. The programme spans drama, dance, movement and musical theatre, with a strong focus on contemporary trends as well as productions for young audiences and families.A distinctive feature of Theatre World Brno is its close collaboration between Brno’s leading theatres. During the festival, these institutions join forces as partners in programming, production and logistics, creating an exceptional network of venues and technical facilities.
