Filadelfia Wind / Brass Band Festival

The Filadelfia /Tropea Wind /Brass Band festival is a competitive - non-event that offers the participating groups the opportunity to perform in no less than two (and up to four) different concerts. For Festival The repertoire for this event is absolutely free (no mandatory pieces or obligatory types of songs).

For Competition: Brass and wind bands will have an 11-20 minute performance and a maximum 5-minute warm-up. Full conditions upon request.
Prices for winning: Euro 1000,- for category A, for category B Euro 800,00, Euro 700 for category C, for category D Euro 600,00, for category C Euro 500,00.

Registration: directly with the festival organization. Registration costs about 200.00 euros for your ensemble.

Moreover, the bands may choose between a plethora of options regarding the concert venues, including indoor concerts in concert halls or local churches as well as outdoor performances in the city centre of Tropea, Pizzo Calabro, colourful local villages, and picturesque meeting points in the near area.
An integral part of the International Bands Events is the Festival parade held at the city centre of Tropea and a handful of social events, such as the Musicians Gala and the wine&food tasting events of local products. Both events aim to establish strong friendships among the choristers, to enhance the experience gained by the participating group members as well as boost the mutual and fruitful exchange of ideas and musical cultures.
We can send you an example of a hotel package based on your travel schedule (your arrival and departure) including the cost of travel from the airport to Tropea and vice versa. The Airport near us is Lamezia Terme.
Travel costs for concerts in the Festival area will be free of charge.
