Founded in 1983, the Festival Internazionale Nuova Danza FIND is one of the oldest festivals of contemporary dance in Italy. It is considered the pioneer of contemporary dance in Sardinia. Since 1983, more than 260 dance companies have hit the stage of the festival: striking artists, leading figures and also emerging talents at the beginning of brilliant careers. In its 37 year history, FIND brought to Cagliari’s audiences unforgettable European and Italian premieres: among the many, FIND presented the first European performances by Trisha Brown and Lucinda Childs. FIND’s early editions programmed performances by Angelin Preljocaj; Karine Saporta; L'Esquisse; En Knap; Charleroi Danse; Kazuo Ohno; and more recently, Jan Fabre’s unconventional shows, the unforgettable Susanne Linke, Wim Vandekeybus, Frédéric Flamand, Marie Chouinard, Emio Greco & Pieter C. Scholten with Ballet National de Marseille, Jerome Bel, Massala.

The FIND is composed of:
