Flores Musicae - Creative Early Music 2026

The festival Flores Musicae has since its beginning included along with more mainstream early music projects also more creative programmes. This has in the recent years became its trademark and the 2025 edition "E(c)lectric" was focused around programmes where Early music is a basis or a pretext for creating new music or just a piece of a puzzle of a more complex but coherent unity.

After the extremely nice reaction of the faithful audience we want to continue in the direction of support and the creation of programmes that would fit in the "Creative Early Music" topic: the ensemble The Fine Hand will present a programme where american folk is mixing with all its roots in a powerful contemporary narration, the celebrated singer-songwriter Piers Faccini will present a new programme with early music mixing with mediterranean traditions and blues in his unique blend, there will also be electric Monteverdi and more surprising programmes that will attract new audiences.
