Galway International Arts Festival (GIAF), renowned for curating extraordinary experiences, is gearing up for an exceptional multidisciplinary program, scheduled from 15 to 28 July 2024.

As a cornerstone of cultural events along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way for over 45 years, GIAF annually showcases the finest in Irish and international music, theatre, visual art, street art, talks and more.

Past lineups have featured illustrious names such as The Flaming Lips, Joni Mitchell, Fabulous Beast, Michael Clark and Hofesh Shechter and renowned artists Marina Abramovic and David Hockney and the 2024 line-up already boasts stellar acts like The Saw Doctors, Block Rockin Beats, Gavin James, KETTAMA and Kneecap.

The comprehensive program for 2024 is set to be unveiled in May 2024.

Nestled on the west coast, Galway sits directly on the stunning coastal route, the Wild Atlantic Way.

Conveniently accessible from Dublin (a 2.5-hour drive) and Shannon Airports (a 1-hour drive), the city invites visitors to delve into its rich heritage, relish breathtaking views of Galway Bay, explore the scenic wonders of Connemara, marvel at the iconic Cliffs of Moher (Ireland's beloved tourist attraction), or embark on a journey to the Aran Islands.
