Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film Festival
The Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film Festival started in 2013 as an initiative of Claudio Gubitosi, artistic director and creator of Giffoni Film Festival. The lack of young audience in cinema theaters in Macedonia was the essential motivation to set up this youth festival. The festival became most important event for the young people with more than 500 participants from around ten countries from the Balkan region and Europe.
The festival is a real experience for young people with back to back screenings, debates, workshops, concerts, panels and the whole city is involved.
Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film Festival has become an essential hub in the Balkans in the past ten years.
