Grandezze & Meraviglie - 29° Estense Music Festival
"Grandezze & Meraviglie - Festival Musicale Estense" returns this autumn with more than 20 concerts, cultural events and school activities. Dedicated to promoting the rarities of ancient and baroque music, this year's program spans from Medieval repertoires to Classical chamber music. Highlights include a new production of Falvetti's ‘Il Diluvio universale’ (The Great Flood), the first edition of ‘San Geminiano’ dedicated to the patron saint of Modena, a reworking of Vivaldi's ‘Four Seasons’ and, to mark the 400th anniversary of Christina of Sweden, a harp and drama performance. In addition to these performances, Grandezze & Meraviglie offers lectures, interdisciplinary cultural conferences, educational activities for children and students as well as informative musical analyses.
