Gyzi Megaron Festival 2026

The Gyzi Megaron Cultural Centre organizes significant cultural events every year during the tourist season, attracting both residents and visitors of Santorini.The year 2026 marks an important milestone, as the Gyzi Megaron Festival celebrates 40 years of continuous presence. Over the course of its history, more than 600 artists from Greece and abroad have participated, and the Festival has become an established institution of high artistic quality, contributing substantially to the cultural identity of the island. All events remain free to the public, thanks to the support of the Catholic Diocese of Thira, without financial assistance from other institutions.For the 2026 anniversary edition, we are planning a series of high-level artistic events featuring artists from Greece, Italy, and Spain, further enhancing the Festival’s international dimension and cultural outreach.
