Haddo Arts Festival 2024 will run from 12 – 15 September, in the beautiful venues at Haddo House (the Chapel, the Library, Haddo House Hall) and in partner venues in Aberdeen (Cowdray Hall at Aberdeen Art Gallery, North East Scotland Music School - NESMS).Our programme:Thursday 12 September, 12:45 pm, Cowdray Hall, Aberdeen: Neil Birse and Matthew Kilner Jazz piano and saxophone duoThursday 12 September, 4:00 or 4:30 pm TBC, NESMS: Piano Masterclasses by Joanna MacGregor CBEThursday 12 September, 7:30 pm: Haddo House Chapel: Alys Huws, The Official Royal Harpist. Preceded at 6.30 pm by reception in Haddo House Library (included in ticket price)Friday 13 September, 7.30 pm, Haddo House Hall: Piano Recital, Joanna MacGregor CBE. Followed by open conversation with Joanna MacGregor and the masterclass students.Saturday 14 September, afternoon time tbc, Haddo House Library: TBC – David & June Gordon Lecture by Joyce Cairns.Saturday 14 September, 7.30 pm, Haddo House Hall: Concert by Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society, Music Director Dr. Paul Tierney LGSMD, ATCL. Throughout the Festival: Rediscovering Haddo, an exhibition of photographs by Susan Orr and short written pieces by Rae Cowie
