Immersive Festival 2024
In 2024, the DME Project will present the 3rd edition of the Immersive Festival, an annual event dedicated to electroacoustic music that will highlight the two dome-shaped sound systems in the Lisboa Incomum space. This is a system made up of speakers arranged in space, enveloping the audience in a dome, which allows a deep perception of the Space in Music parameter, in an immersion in flows of sound and movement. The festival will run from 22 to 24 March, promoting composition seminars and concerts on the theme of acousmatic music. All the concerts will take place at 7:30 pm.
The guest composers will be Åke Parmerud (Sweden), Thomas Gorbach (Austria), Enrique Mendoza Mejia (Mexico/Austria) and Julien Guillamat (France). All concerts are free of charge, subject to booking by emailing lisboaincomum@gmail.com.
The composition seminars with the four composers require prior registration by 10 March, at a cost of 20 euros each, and if you register for all of them, the total cost is 50 euros.
