INACT - Mutant art festival - Dissensus

The INACT association produce the Mutant art festival as an art performance meeting, established in Strasbourg since 2011. This event aims to produce and sustain works of art at the intersection of representation, artistic gesture and mediation favouring innovation and transdisciplinarity. This international multi-disciplinary gathering takes place every year for three or four days deploying each time a specific search field related to actuality. The festival is completed by conferences and professional workshops increasing the possibility for the public to exchange with artists and artwork. In 2015, The INACT association co-created with Eza Possible the Kinact gathering in Kinshasa, DRC, Kinshasa in action. This international street performance festival aims to stimulate local art creation and give visibility to art for the people of Kinshasa. The INACT association developed a large network of artists on a worldwide scale. Based on the Rhine port, on the border with Germany, in Strasbourg, the association is developing a programme aiming to increase the relationship between contemporary art and the public through a workshop with the specific public throughout all year and exchange between art and public on the crossborder beetween Germany and France. The organisation is developing a video studio to broadcast the yearly festival that would be ready in 2023, for the 13th edition of the festival.
