Indigo Festival

Indigo Festival – an international festival of contemporary ideas – is a festival platform that presents cultural creation in the context of theoretical reflection on contemporary society. Through lectures, talks, screenings, music performances and DJ sets by local and international guests it features the latest trends in all artistic genres, design and philosophy. Taking place annually in Ljubljana since 2016, the festival is produced by the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana and Marsh Creative Production.

The 2026 edition of Indigo Festival will explore “Hyperconsumption” through a dynamic intersection of philosophy, music, and contemporary design. Framed by the provocative motto “Slop till you drop,” the festival will examine a society shaped by excess, acceleration, and relentless production. Moving beyond a critique of consumerism, it will consider the social, environmental, and psychological consequences of material overproduction, digital saturation, and informational noise, offering a space to pause, reflect, and imagine new forms of collective action in an increasingly unpredictable world.
