The international festival “L’Espace du Son” has been running since 1984. It is exclusively dedicated to spatialised acousmatic music performed on the INFLUX acousmonium (110 loudspeakers) developed by Musiques & Recherches. Acousmatic music is a media art form, like photography or cinema. It is to instrumental music what cinema is to theatre. The “L’Espace du Son” festival invites composers working in this genre to spatialise their works in a concert-portrait. The audience is immersed in a dynamic soundscape and musical universe performed live.
