International Festival of Students’ Theaters - URBAN FEST 2025. - Niš

- Festival is international and competitive- All types of students’ (academic) and youth theaters can apply- Performances are to be twice per evening- Total number of participants is up to 20 persons, in necessity of larger number, Counsel of Festival will consider that possibility- Technical conditions, dvd recording (optionally), translation in Serbian and short synopsis of the performance should be enclosed with the Application form- Transportation costs are to be covered by participants- Accommodation and meals costs are to be covered by Organizer- Selected performances will be rated by International Jury of three members- During the Festival, the Jury of the Round table, which will consist of 1-2 representatives of the participating theaters, will be at session, and on the last evening of the Festival, they will award the Round Table Award.Festival AwardsCategory of Students’ and Youth Theaters:Naissa – The Best Leading Male RoleNaissa – The Best Leading Female RoleNaissa – The Best Supporting Male RoleNaissa – The Best Supporting Female RoleCategory of Drama Students:Emperor Constantine – The Best Leading Male RoleEmpress Theodora – The Best leading Female RoleGrand Prix of the Festival:Scull Tower – The Best Acting PerformanceJury of the participants:Round Table Award- Within the Festival, many subsidiary activities are planned: workshops, panel discussions, debates, introducing of the students’ works, Festival bulletin, etc.
