The International PantomimeTheaterFestival Dresden offers its audience a broad spectrum of modern movement theater. The fusion of classical pantomime with elements from theater, dance, mask play, object theater and artistry is intended to lead Dresden's scene further along the path to "contemporary mime". The basis for this is the over 40-year tradition of pantomime in Dresden.The festival offers workshops and performances. Guest from many different countries around the globe have participated for example artists from Mexico, Portugal, Estonia, France, Switzerland, India, Poland, Czech Republic, Japan, Germany and others.
