International Music Festival "Autumn Tbilisi"

International music festival "Autumn Tbilisi" was founded in 1993 by Djansug Kakhidze Tbilisi Center for Music & Culture, Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra and Tbilisi Municipality. An inspirer of festival was famous Georgian conductor Djansug Kakhidze. It is a high level artistic event, which was a first beam of light in totally silent cultural life of Tbilisi after the tragic developments happened in Georgia and serves for regenerating of rich concert-life traditions always existed in the country. During its existence festival became one of the most popular musical events among the citizens of Tbilisi and its guests.

"Autumn Tbilisi” is an annual event. The participants of the festival are such famous soloists and ensembles from all over the world. A special attention is given to promotion of Georgian musical culture - a lot of Georgian performers are the participants of the festival programs.

The program of the festival is very diverse and combines concerts of classical music, jazz and folk. It should be noted that the classical part of festival program is always distinguished by great number of world masterpieces, including famous works of symphonic, chamber and vocal-instrumental genres. Besides, the festival gives big importance to presentation of works by Georgian composers and Georgian traditional music.

The venue of International Music festival "Autumn Tbilisi" is the magnificent concert halls of Djansug Kakhidze Center for Music & Culture, which is one of the main concert organizations of Georgia.
