International Performing Arts Festival Babel X
After two years of pandemic that made impossible to held the 10th edition of Babel Festival, we now aim to organize it between 10th to 19th of June 2022. The theme of this edition is Language/Speech. Our desire is to have an anniversary edition, mainly through the fact that it represents a new beginning.
The performances and artistic events will try to throw a light on this vital element of the human life and, maybe, not only human, because animals have their languages too. Language is mainly understood as words, but it can also mean something else like: body movement, signs, eye contact, writing, drawing etc. However, the language that both humans and animals understand is the type of energy invested in the act of communication. Through different types of speech one can heal or murder. What do we choose?
