Kassel Dokfest is a yearly six day event that takes place in November, organized by the Filmladen Kassel e. V. The film program, which includes short and feature documentary films and artistic-experimental productions, is the center of the festival. The festival’s profile also encompasses several trans-media sections, e.g. the media art exhibition Monitoring. The festival is known and loved for its intimate atmosphere with an international approach and a strong focus on new media.
