Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival 2023
The Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival (Divadelní Festival Kutná Hora) was founded in 2015 and it focuses on presenting independent art at the international level and emphasises contemporary topics. The main programme consists of new productions by the Czech independent theatre scene both from Prague and other regions, it also presents the European scene, mostly from Central and East Europe.
The festival provides a free programme for families with children in the centre of the town; concerts, installations and other activities further accompany the programme. Every year, the incoming artistic generation prepares a new premiere exclusively for the festival.
Kutná Hora Performing Arts Festival is also a kind of a working platform, focusing on the development of collaboration between individual artists and the development and support of the independent sector itself. Thanks to its networking sessions, the festival initiates collaboration possibilities at both the Czech and international levels. Every year festival hosts various groups of professionals.
