LEDAMUS (LESKOVACKI DANI MUZIKE)

Music school "Stanislav Binicki" in 2009. organized seven-day music festival for celebrating World Music Day, called LEDAMUS (Leskovacki dani muzike). Participants at the I Festival were taken by students and professors of the Music School, as well as musical ensembles from Leskovac and Nis. The festival fully justified the expectations of its organizers and Leskovac audience. In the coming years, the festival gained an international character, thanks to the participation of musicians from France, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro... (Stefan Milenkovic, Vladimir Milosevic, Dejan Gavric, Roman Simovic, Jurij Siskin, Sanel Redzic, Edin Karamazov, Mari Klodin Papadopulos, Janos Balint, Uki Ovaskainen etc.) For ten years, it has been held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Leskovac. The organizing committee of Ledamus will also plan, prepare, organize and realize the festival Leskovački dani muzike - LEDAMUS this year. So far, the festival has been organized with great success. By 2018, Ledamus was held shortly before June 21, World Music Day. This year the maintenance of Ledamus is planned in the first half of the year. Artistic leaders of the Festival are professor of violin Maja Cakic, and flute professor, Biljana Miljković.
