Literature for Solidarity was first held in 2020 in Tbilisi, establishing its foundation as an open, research-driven art initiative.
Following its inaugural edition, the festival expanded its reach to Kvishkheti, taking place at the historic Dimitri Kipiani House Museum. The core mission of our festival editions is to explore the synthesis and intersection of diverse art forms within real time and real space. Rather than confining ourselves to a fixed institutional venue, we actively seek out unique places, historical contexts, and ideas that hold the human experience at their very centre. Operating without a permanent physical location allows us to stay dynamic, mobile, and deeply connected to local communities and environments.
Literature for Solidarity remains entirely open to artistic experimentation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and grassroots dialogue, bringing creators and audiences together in a shared circle of solidarity.
