Lofou August Festival is the most important cultural intervention in the district of 'ampelochoria' i.e. the grape villages between Limassol and Paphos. L.A.F. takes place since 1987 and, consequently, constitutes a strong tradition in the area. The main festival lasts four days were many activities such as concerts, traditional dances and music, stand up comedies and theaters are presented. Workshops, exhibitions and concerts throughout August promote the nowadays cultural diversity of Cyprus.
