MAFRA DANCE FESTIVAL

Mafra Dance Festival is organized by Amalgama Dance Company with support from the Mafra City Hall. It promotes and showcases the work of artists, bringing different perspectives and positions on Performing Dance and Video Dance, contributing to artistic and audience development with a holistic and systemic vision. A unique international space for research and cultural promotion for Dance in Mafra. Aimed at all dance lovers, budding and emerging artists of all ages.We are together and creating Culture!

The Festival features an international Dance Video Showcase, an international Performance Showcase at the local theater, a day of immersion in workshops and specific training, dance photography exhibitions, and performances in alternative spaces linked to heritage or nature. The program is selected through an open call that opens in December 2025.
