Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival 2023
Inizjamed will be holding the 18th edition of the Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival, which will culminate over two evenings at Fort St Elmo, Valletta.
Each evening, four invited authors will read their works and the translations they have worked on during the workshop. This year, the festival joins other festivals, literature organisations, and publishers as part of the Creative Europe residency exchange multiannual programme Ulysses' Shelter 3.
The Festival is supported by Arts Council Malta. The Festival is also collaborating with Creative Europe Desk – Malta, the National Book Council, Heritage Malta and Literature Across Frontiers. It is supported by the Phoenicians' Route. The EFFE Europe has given the Festival an international accreditation for the Festival, Festival for Europe trademark.
