Melitzazz 2022, after 9 years of implementation and 2 years of absence due to the pandemic, returns for its 10th year and promises a great experience to its visitors. During the Melitzazz festival you will have the opportunity to explore the city and enjoy concerts and events in the alleys and squares. You can also visit the 200-year-old mansions and tower houses of Leonidio!
This year's reunion will bring together the festival visitors and also old classmates and teachers, opening the just restored old High School of Leonidio, an emblematic building of the city, and filling it with memories, stories, archives and new artistic creations, where the traditional meets the contemporary.
We welcome you to a four day celebration where the Tsakonian heritage meets contemporary sounds and music, works of art, exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, guided tours, local flavours, gastronomy, treats based on the Tsakonian eggplant and local delicacies. And all of that will take place under the great red rock of Leonidio.
