Mime in Motion ( M.I.M. )
M.I.M. - Mime In Motion is an international contemporary mime and physical theatre festival conceived and organized in Montpellier by the company Platform 88.
Founded by Janaina Tupan and Sébastien Loesener, the Festival is commited to show the diversity of practices and aesthetics of mime art and physical theatre today. Each year the programme embraces a wide range of shows and performances, for black box theatre and public space, putting in evidence a contemporary approach to the mime and promoting the democratisation of this art.
The programme also includes open workshops for the public of different ages, round tables, professional gatherings, participatory projects and masterclasses for young theatre professionals.
M.I.M. takes place annually in February during a whole week, in the city of Montpellier of the South of France.
