Amidst the backdrop of pervasive insecurity, inflation, and pressing social issues in northern Nigeria and the country at large, Arts & Vibes presents the theme "Mindscapes of the North." This theme explores three contexts — psychological, creative, and cultural. "Mindscapes of the North" invites us into the minds of Arewa artists, revealing the complex layers of their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences. It calls on artists and creatives to delve into the depths of the human psyche, express their internal landscapes, and interpret abstract ideas. It also encourages an exploration of the collective cultural identity of Arewa, shaped by shared beliefs, experiences, and ideologies.
