Mozart’s music is more than 200 years old but still as vibrant as ever. Established in 1921, every June Mozartfest Würzburg celebrates the composer’s name and legacy and approaches it from a modern perspective with a central theme. Situated on the River Main and surrounded by vineyards, the town offers a beautiful historic setting for a variety of events, including symphony concerts in the UNESCO-listed Würzburg Residenz, serenades in the Court Gardens or concerts in wine cellars.
