OUT.FEST – Festival Internacional de Música Exploratória do Barreiro is an annual event, started in 2004, which celebrates experimental music in all its diversity, from improvised music, electronics and jazz to contemporary classical music and new idioms. Its programme gathers and maps experimental music’s past, present and future. The festival takes place in various venues in Barreiro (Lisbon South Bay) and is produced by cultural associations OUT.RA and FILHO ÚNICO.
