Palm Off Fest

The international meeting of Central European theatres Palm Off Fest takes place at the Palmovka Theatre in Prague. Palm Off Fest was founded in 2016 by theartistic director and director of the Palmovka Theater, Michal Lang. The festival brings to the heart of Europe the most spectacular productions of the contemporary Central European stage. The festival is focused not only regionally but also thematically. In 2018, the festival started off with a question “Do we already have what we wanted?“, and among others, hosted the Estonian theatre NO99 with its Revolutionor the production of Oliver Frijić and Maxim Gorki Theatre: GOЯKI– Alternative for Germany?.
Apart from the theatrical performances, the festival offers discussions with the authors and the showcase of distinctive documentary films prepared by our partner, Institute of Documentary Film.
