Pergine Festival
“Our theatre is the city itself, made out of places, stories, interactions and people. We facilitate the encounter of people and ideas through multidisciplinary artistic practices.”
Pergine Festival is a theatre and performing arts festival that has been drawing inspiration from the city hosting it since 1976, in constant dialogue with the community and urban landscape. The Festival serves as a driving force for new creativities across various disciplinary fields and production modalities that engage the audience in diverse forms, using innovative expressive languages and inhabiting spaces in unconventional ways. Special support is provided to emerging artists, promoting the diversity of artistic voices. The festival believes that culture is a universal right, thus it works to make its programming accessible to everyone, without any distinction. Lastly, the festival stands out for its intense international cultural exchanges and is a partner in large-scale European projects: "Stronger Peripheries: a Southern Coalition".
