Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival 2026

The Photopolis Photography Festival in Agrinio is being organized for the seventh consecutive year by the Photopolis Cultural Association.The Agrinio Photography Festival 2026 includes pre-festival and main events, as well as a thematic exhibition.Two international photography competitions, one international short film competition. 23 individual photography exhibitions, 2 group photography exhibitions with the participation of 50 photographers. Two days of short film screenings.Portfolio reviews. Masterclass. One presentation – lecture.It is mainly oriented towards contemporary photography and focuses on an exploratory and critical way of thinking about the issues and concerns of today's social reality.The festival is aimed at a wide audience, especially young people, and seeks to give the events a supra-local character, with the participation of artists from different countries, generating, among other things, added value for the city. At the same time, however, it emphasizes the promotion and advancement of domestic photographic artistic production.
