The four-week music festival PHRE will take place from July 30 to August 21, 2027, at the socio-cultural centre Import Export in Munich’s Kreativquartier. It is organised by the non-profit association Kunstzentrat e.V. Approximately 70 international and local artists will be invited to perform across eleven festival days. PHRE focuses on experimental and electroacoustic pop music, with a particular emphasis on transcultural and global music. The festival offers musical excellence in an inclusive and accessible environment. Its aim is to connect the concepts of experimental and global music. The festival caters to a diverse audience across generations, with a particular focus on people with a migration background and music enthusiasts from the Munich region.
