Prague German Language Theatre Festival

The 27th edition of the festival will take place from 9 November to 4 December 2022 under the motto Herr*innen.

This year's festival will present theatre projects from Hamburg, Hannover, Berlin, Vienna or Munich. The festival also includes a rich accompanying programme.

The Prague German Language Theatre Festival is a respected international display of theatre performances and projects from all German-speaking countries. The festival cooperates with the most renowned theatre companies, emphasising highest artistic value and innovative trends. It is considered as the most progressive theatre event of the year. An award for the best German language play, various side events, exhibitions, lectures, discussions, workshops and more are all part of the festival.
