The Prague Spring International Music Festival was founded in 1946 by the Czech conductor Rafael Kubelík. It is considered the most important arts event in the Czech Republic. The Festival annually provides top concerts (and no longer only classical) to tens of thousands of music-lovers in concert halls and also millions of TV viewers and radio listeners.
The Festival is also an organizer of Prague Spring International Music Competition and Rudolf Firkusny Piano Festival.
