PRO.ACT Fest V

PRO.ACT Fest – an annual International Theatre Festival in English,
Founded in 2018 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Festival specializes in theatre performances and theatre workshops in English along with creating an English-speaking atmosphere at the festival.
Over 4 years of its existence PRO.ACT Fest hosted theatre performances of state and independent theatres from different parts of Ukraine, student theatres and kids drama schools.
We had guests from Canada, USA, Israel, Czech Republic, Poland and other countries.

PRO.ACT Fest is also known for its rich acting workshops in English and theatre laboratories.

Normally the festival takes 3 days either in the end of February or the end of August.

Starting from 2021 we implemented an online part of the festival and Theatre24 project where playwrights create and participants of the festival stage a brand new play within 24 hours.

And the most important thing is that PRO.ACT Fest is famous for its atmosphere which is extremely friendly, welcoming, and vibrant.

PRO.ACT FEST theme of 2022 is “Unbreakable”. We accept performances in English that fit under this theme.
The Festival is conducted Aug 13-31, 2022: in Kyiv, Ukraine; online; and worldwide

This year PRO.ACT Fest is held in 3 formats:
1) every theatre selected can perform in the country in their city as a part of PRO.ACT Fest V (dates: Aug 13-31, 2022)
2) theatres can submit quality recordings of their performances to take part in the online section of the festival
3) a theatre selected can come to Kyiv and perform in the Kyiv section of PRO.ACT Fest V (dates: Aug 20-21, 2022)
