Rigas Ritmi is the most popular improvisation, jazz and global music festival in Latvia. During the first week of July, the festival's stages are located in different parts of Riga and feature concerts by world-renowned artists and young talent.
23rd International Festival of Improvisation, Jazz and Global Music Rīgas Ritmi will take place from July 5 to 8, when the Latvian Maestro Raimonds Paul's Trio with chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Riga, Cuban jazz star Yilian Cañizares, French bluesman Charles Pasi, Danish flamenco guitar master Jacob Gurevitsch, British jazz singer Louise Balkwill and other artists will perform.
The main concerts of the festival will take place in the Riga Cathedral Garden, but visitors to the festival will also be welcomed at the Noass Art Center on the AB Dam, where Jersika Stage will operate, and official jam sessions of the festival will take place in the Riga Jazz Lounge at the hotel Radisson Blu Latvija.
