The International Festival Sguardi Altrove focusses on issues related to the female world (in a perspective of comparison with the male universe), set in a cultural, political and social context at international level and is also proposed as place of intercultural dialogue and critical comparison with "different" film-making.
Sguardi Altrove has always paid particular attention to film-making from different countries and cultures, promoting the circulation of those works which, although of a good standard, find it difficult to enter the commercial circuits. Strongly rooted in its local context and famous throughout Italy, Sguardi Altrove in 2019 celebrates its 26th edition.
