Styrian Summer Art is an organisation, which promotes art events, art classes and workshops in the rural area.

Professional artists are invited to get involved in culture and artistic events and courses, with a goal to bring the art closer to people, regardless of their age or origin. The intergenerational artistic offers support and encouragement through art courses for children, experimental art workshops for youth and art workshops for adults.

Styrian Summer Art is annually organising about 30 artistic workshops in the field of visual arts, photography, new media as well as correlating multi-discipline fields like film, video, poetry and creative writing, acting and script writing.

In addition to the core activities mentioned above, the organisation participated in EU- LEADER Projekt “Tut was! Talentesuche”, OSTBOX, 44 QM GALERIE for regional art , EU Project ART MACHINE and The European Balcony Project, artsector.eu, which is a cooperation platform for cross border projects and “Meet the Culture - Alps Adriatic Network.
