The TAF - Thessaloniki Animation Festival, was organised for the first time in 2015, by ADDART. Even though it started as a local event, in just a few years, it has managed to become an acclaimed International Festival and a cultural phenomenon for the city of Thessaloniki. It is the only festival of its kind in the territory of North Greece that engages in education, culture, and the art of animation. During the festival a National and International Animation Contest are being held, along with the Balkan Animation Pitching Forum, special screenings, panels and lectures, and of course master classes and workshops by esteemed animation professionals. Last year, we had the honour of being concluded in the European Enterprise Awards and winning the award for the “Most Creative Animation Festival in Greece”.
