The Blank ArtDate | ARTIFICIO

ArtDate, a weekend totally dedicated to contemporary art, takes place every year in Bergamo since 2010. ArtDate offers every year free access to numerous contemporary art events in the city. Exhibition openings, studio visits, extraordinary openings of historical houses and private collections, concerts, talks and performances take place during the festival. The programme involves different targets: from artists to collectors, from young people to a mature public, from art insiders to curious people, all of them with the common desire to discover and exchange views about contemporary art. For this year on the occasion of Bergamo and Brescia Capital of Culture, the festival will be available in three different formats:

ArtDate online | 9,10,11,12 November: a talk series with experts in art, film and sociology regarding the theme of art and artificiality in the contemporary world

ArtDate in Bergamo | 16,17,18,19 November: the city of Bergamo becomes home to numerous initiatives such as exhibitions, gallery openings, and shuttles that bring the public to the artist studios. Also opening at Palazzo della Ragione, Bergamo, on Nov. 16 will be Yayoy Kusama's major exhibition with the possibility of access to one of her Infinity Rooms.

ArtDate in Brescia | 23,24,25,26 November: the city of Brescia, complements the Bergamo program and also becomes the site of numerous initiatives such as exhibitions, gallery openings, and shuttles taking the public to the artist's studios.

The festival is a great opportunity to visit the two capitals of culture through contemporary art in an accessible and free way for a wide audience.
