The Debutants’ Festival Pierwszy KONTAKT (First Contact) has a competitive character and nationwide range. The Festival present and promote the most interesting young and very young artists, both actors and directors. We are also keen to bring young audience and young theater closer to the city of great theatrical traditions, in which we have been organizing the International Theater Festival KONTAKT for over 20 years. Both festivals work in the Biennale formula. International Festival KONTAKT is organized every even year and The Debutants’ Festival Pierwszy KONTAKT every odd year.
