Theatre by the Sea – Theater Aan Zee or TAZ for short – is an annual 10-day multidisciplinary arts festival that takes place in midsummer in a range of extraordinary locations in and around Ostend, with a lively meeting point in the centre of this harbour city. The festival has a reputation for being one of the most important platforms for young professional theatre-makers and musicians in the Low Countries, and plays a vital role in nurturing promising new and multicultural talent.
