THEATER IN CLOSEUP

The Liepaja Theater Festival “THEATER IN CLOSEUP” is planned as an annual festival where an international show programme is created. It consists of theatrical performances of the Baltic Sea region countries and an additional programme, which includes talks on theatrical art, presentations of show ideas, readings of plays in playwright residences and other activities. It allows viewers to be introduced to theatrical art processes, as well as provide theatrical professionals and interested parties with time and space to reflex about theatrical art processes and challenges.
