For its fifth anniversary edition, This is not a circus presents five performances across five venues, drawing from ancient wisdom and contemporary circus techniques. From the myth of the clown and the mystique of hair-hangers to the everyday rituals of the handstand artist – get ready for a festival full of kinetic, sensory, and auditory circus forms!The annual festival by TENT house for contemporary circus features work by emerging and mid-career makers from the Netherlands and Flanders. The program is aimed at an (young) adult audience and professionals, with matinees also suitable for families. Ticket sales will open at the end of October via the theatres.
