Set against the ancient, myth-soaked trees of the Wilford Peninsula, Uncanny Valley is a 499-capacity immersive experiment that officially kicks off the 2026 festival season. While the rest of the circuit waits for the safety of summer, we invite the bold and the restless to a private woodland near Bawdsey for a weekend of folk-punk, acid techno, and handmade surrealism.Born from a distinctive dip in the Suffolk landscape, the festival operates on a simple, disorienting premise: the further you venture into the valley, the stranger things get. Expect to stumble upon a "Moth Popera" in the brush, witness the high-stakes drama of the Suffolk Slug Wrestling Invitational (adults in sleeping bags), or place your bets at the Electric Hamster Racing track.Uncanny Valley is a DIY expression of love for festivals as an art form.
