Earthink Festival is recognised as the first and only performing arts festival in Italy dedicated to sustainability. Born in 2012 from an idea by Serena Bavo of Tékhné, since 2016 it has been promoting the 17 sustainable development goals through live entertainment. The work has been the subject of the study of two-degree theses, the last in order of time curated by Dr. Roberta Sciortino for the master's degree course in Economics and Management of the Arts and Cultural Activities - Cà Foscari University - Supervisor Prof. Federico Pupo with the thesis "Theater and ecological awareness - The role of theater festivals in environmental sustainability – Analysis of the Earthink Festival”. Earthink Festival has been a guest at various national conferences including in April 2018 for the panel organized by WEEC at the Federico II University in Naples, in June 2019 the international AIESEC meeting at the University of Trento, in December 2019 for the sustainability week at the University of Trento and in October 2021 during the Festival dello Spectatore organized by the Rete Teatrale Aretina in the city of Arezzo. The eleventh edition of the festival took place in Turin from 9 to 17 September 2022.

The broad theme of not only environmental sustainability is addressed by Tékhné both through the festival, but also with the creation of numerous workshops and projects during the entire year.

The commitment of the Tékhné is reflected not only in the artistic choice of the shows that animate the days of the festival, but also through the organization and choice of collaborations, implementing best practices and reducing the environmental impact that the realisation of an event entails."
