Varcare la Frontiera - Crossing the Border (12th edition)

This year's edition of Varcare la Frontiera (Crossing the border) is a festival in collaboration with the designer Mirko Ilić and the Tolerance Project Inc. of New York. The festival started with the Tolerance Poster Show on 25th July in Lampedusa and it is still ongoing in Trieste since 25th October and will soon debut in Agrigento on 14th December. The Tolerance Poster Show is an international initiative where artists from all over the world are invited to design a poster that represents the concept of tolerance, including the word "tolerance" in their native language.

Moreover, the project also invited designers under 35 to participate in a creative call, in which they have to create a poster representing tolerance from their own point of view, just like the ones in the Poster Show. Participants can join the call until the 31st January 2026 by sending their work and the filled in registration documents, that can be found on our website, to this email address: eventi@cizerouno.it. The winners of this initiative will have their posters printed and displayed in an exhibiton held at the Cavò, Cizerouno's headquarters in Trieste.
