Wianki in Krakow 2026

20 Jun 2026 - 21 Jun 2026
Kraków, Poland

The summer solstice, known as Kupala Night, is, in Slavic tradition, the key moment of the year when all of nature – and the human being who’s part of it – fully blossoms participants. Herbs and flowers, as well as water, play an important role in this feast. To continue this old tradition, during Wianki in Krakow we meet by the largest Polish river to weave wreaths (in Polish: wianki), participate in concerts and celebrate together the shortest night of the year and the beginning of summer.
