The Wintertuinfestival celebrates compelling stories in every form. Together with (literary) creators, authors, artists, and the public, we turn Nijmegen inside out. From November 24 to 29, 2025, we fill the city center with literature, performance, art, music, and meet-ups.Whether you attend a theatrical performance, meet your favorite (new) writer, or listen to one of the many interviews or readings, you can expect a week full of experimentation, entertainment, and discovery!With new and established voices from home and abroad, astute stories, and thought-provoking programs. Featuring Safae el Khannoussi (as our Writer-in-Residence), Geert Mak, Édouard Louis, Cobi van Baars, and Ghayath Almadhoun, among others.
